The European Academy of Chiropractic (EAC) is the academic arm of the European Chiropractors’ Union. It assists member associations in improving access to lifelong learning for chiropractors through continuing professional development (CPD), including a structured Graduate Education Programme (GEP), and liaison with other academic institutions.
Membership of the EAC is open to all chiropractors who are full members of ECU member national associations and to faculty members of ECCE-accredited educational institutions.
Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
The EAC recommends that all ECU chiropractors complete a minimum of 30 hours of CPD activity each year as an essential part of their clinical practice. This activity includes attendance at conferences and seminars, including the biennial ECU Convention which includes the presentation of original research. Approved CPD also includes online learning, particularly through the EAC’s own eacacademy.com platform, which provides accredited courses delivered by experts.
