EVENT OUTLINE
In this last webinar of the RCC’s Pregnancy & Paediatric Faculty webinar series, Anne will share clinic scenarios as she makes the pre & perinatal focus more accessible whilst offering insights to the range of challenges that children face in reaching many of their developmental milestones. These can range from the unsettled newborn who cries excessively or has issues around sleeping, feeding, pooping etc., to the baby who dislikes tummy time, crawling and sleeping on their back, to the toddler who has emotional meltdowns triggered by their early signs of developmental delay.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
- Understand the basic principles of pre & perinatal education
- How to apply permission-based practice from the child’s perspective
- Be able to recognise common Baby Body Language cues
- Understand how to manage parents expectations
