Course Description

Event Outline

This webinar provides the second standalone part of a two-part series that aims to raise awareness of axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA), a condition diagnosed after an average of 8.5 years in the UK. Our speakers, who each have lived experience of axSpA, will share their insights and knowledge to improve understanding and management of the condition. These events seek to inform participants about recognising the signs and symptoms of axSpA, increase their confidence in using tools and resources to facilitate referrals, and provide an understanding of the management strategies for axSpA.

Learning Outcomes

Following this webinar, you will have:

  • An increased understanding of the signs and symptoms of axSpA
  • Be able to explore investigate resources available to chiropractors to identify if referral is needed to rheumatology
  • Have gained knowledge in the patient journey to diagnosis and treatment
  • Explore treatment approaches and self-management resources
